The Choir and Dance Group ‘Francisco de Goya’ began its journey in 1950 and was founded as an Association in 1973 with the aim of keeping alive the folk art, and to perpetuate the traditions and customs. The extensive repertoire of the group includes dances from different parts of Spain (Andalusia, Aragon, Castile, Extremadura), but their main objective is the study and interpretation of goyesque dances and the dances of the Bolero School, which achieved great popularity, especially in Madrid, in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
