I am very proud of your festival which is joined with Federation of International Dance Festivals. I am sure The International Folklore Festival “Vitosha” will be going to develop further with FIDAF.
I would like to congratulate the organisers of this impressive Folklore Festival of Sofia by bringing folk art activists from many different countries and continents together and by their lively performances it creates understanding, friendship and peace in the world.
The International Folklore Festival “Vitosha” is an integral part of the Cultural calendar of Sofia. The festival is a unique opportunity for the bulgarian public to become familiar with the music and dance traditions of countries around the world. This is a chance to the young audience to see the most attractive part of folklore.
