With well-equipped facilities and skilled personnel, the foundation enables artists to create exceptional works in the performing arts field. They offer free training and education in various forms of art, including Traditional and Contemporary Dance, Musical Karawitan, Pedalangan, and Sinden.

Recognizing the importance of innovation in the arts, the foundation strives to encourage new ideas and creativity in order to ensure the survival and relevance of art in society. They believe that without innovation, art may be disregarded and even forgotten by future generations, leading to its extinction.

The group actively participates in local, national, and international festivals and competitions, showcasing their expertise and broadening their experience in the arts.

Guma’ Rasan Acho’ Latte

Brian Jess Terlaje founded a culture dance group in Yona, Guam in 1999, aiming to contribute to his community and promote the local culture. The group specialized in Hawaiian, Tahitian, and Chamoru dances, participating in various competitions over the years. The group, known as Guma’ Råsan Acho’ Latte, has undergone numerous transformations and recently established a program at John F. Kennedy High School, which has been running for 11 years. They have collaborated with the Guam Visitors’ Bureau to promote cultural and economic initiatives in several countries, including Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, and Malaysia.

Guma’ Råsan Acho’ Latte continues to work with organizations such as the Council on the Arts and Humanities Agency, Department of Chamoru Affairs, and the Department of Education to raise awareness and educate people worldwide about the Chamoru language, history, and culture. Their mission is to preserve and perpetuate the indigenous Chamoru language and carry on the culture and legacy of the locals.

KUD “BOKA” Tivat

The cultural and artistic society “Boka” was established in 1977 with the aim of elevating folk dance to the level of high artistic interpretation. Throughout its existence, the society has been a driving force in the development of culture within its municipality and beyond. It focuses on preserving and promoting the folklore heritage of Montenegro and the Balkans through dance, song, music, and customs. The society places special emphasis on working with young people and collaborating with other associations, organizations, and the local community. “Boka” is a founding member of the Association of Folklore Ensembles of Montenegro and is affiliated with the international folklore organization CIOFF. They have participated in numerous festivals in Montenegro and abroad, showcasing the diversity and richness of their folklore heritage and receiving prestigious awards. Their performances have taken place in various countries, including France, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, Greece, the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary, Bulgaria, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Germany, and the former Yugoslav republics. “Boka” has the status of a traditional non-governmental organization of special importance for the municipality of Tivat and has over 200 active members. Their repertoire consists of 23 choreographies based on dances from Montenegro and the region, each accompanied by an original set of folk costumes. Additionally, “Boka” is the organizer of the international children’s folklore festival “Kolo bez granica” (Circle Without Borders).

Beijing Dance Academy

Beijing Dance Academy is an exclusive educational institution dedicated to the development of excellent professional dancers, choreographers, and dance researchers.

Since 2014, the Department of Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance at the Academy has been dedicated to producing a collection of Chinese Ethnic and Folk dances. They have created five seasons with many special dance pieces that have received great responses from society. These dance pieces originate from 15 provinces, including Heilongjiang, Sichuan, and Tibet, and are inherited from local people representing over 40 different types of dances from 15 ethnic groups, including Han, Tibetan, Mongolian, Uyger, Korean, and Dai minority groups. Some of these dances are listed in intangible cultural heritage protection projects, while others are still passed down from generation to generation.

With a team of twenty-five dancers, musicians, and specialists, they create performances that reinterpret Mexico’s cultural legacy with freshness and dynamism. The company believes in the power of collective work and incorporates contemporary dance and body expression to enrich their dance proposals. They prioritize respect and dignified treatment among their interpreters, creators, and collaborators, which translates into the quality of their performances. Monarca de México has participated in numerous international festivals, showcasing their talent and offering master classes in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, France, Greece, and the United States. Their mission is to create deep aesthetic experiences and promote Mexican folklore while fostering the development of young talents. They strive to become a recognized company both within Mexico and internationally, based on artistic excellence, innovation, and cooperation. Their values include collaboration, passion, quality, respect for people and cultures, pride, and respect for traditions. In 2019, they have participated in cultural exchange and folklore festivals in Israel and the Czech Republic.
